Why did you choose Alverno?
I chose to attend Alverno because of our Ability Based Curriculum. At Alverno you are so much more than a letter grade, and our abilities reflect that. Alverno cares about you as a person, and it’s evident in everything we do. Alverno wants you to be the best that you can possibly be.

How has financial aid impacted your college experience?
Financial aid allows you to focus more on your education.

What will a college degree mean to you? 
A college degree means everything to me. My degree with education means I get to empower our youth and make contributions to our society’s future. I am going to have the privilege to build our children up every day. I have the honor of taking my Alverno education to the classroom.

Have you learned something during college you didn’t expect?
At Alverno, I have learned more about myself and my abilities than I thought was possible. I’ve learned to be confident in myself, and I’m grateful for that.

What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I plan on staying in the Milwaukee area to educate our youth. My goal is to empower them with knowledge that they can do anything they put their minds to.
