Why did you choose St. Norbert College?
I chose St. Norbert College because of how connected everything felt- the professors are connected to the students, the students to the campus, and the campus to the community. It just felt right.

How has financial aid impacted your college experience?
I would not have been able to go to college anywhere without significant financial aid and the Wisconsin Grant.

Did receiving financial aid impact your decision to attend St. Norbert College?
St. Norbert College was able to provide an excellent aid package that made it possible for me to attend school here.

What will a college degree mean to you?
I am a first-generation college student, and my sister went to UW-Eau Claire. A college degree means that I will have the tools to get out of the cycle of poverty my family has lived in for generations, and it will give me the opportunity to pursue what I love.

Have you learned something during college you didn’t expect?
Every day I learn new things about the people I interact with and have formed stronger relationships with them as a result. I think more than anything, that experience has taught me that it’s the little things, the minor details, that really make life special.

What are your plans after graduation?
With a little luck, I’ll be working in radio, broadcasting football and basketball games.
